Quebec and Ottawa Join Forces to Support the Growth of Vic Store Fixtures

News Release

Victoriaville, Quebec – February 12, 2018 – The governments of Quebec and Canada will provide $740,000 and $100,000, respectively, for an equipment acquisition project by Vic Store Fixtures. Evaluated at $1,050,000, the project involves the purchase of an optic-fibre laser, a digital press and remote programming software. The Government of Quebec also provided a total of $99,215 in funding to support the implementation of the company’s 2015–2018 American marketing plan, the total cost of which amounted to $610,274.

The federal government’s repayable financial contribution was allocated by Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED) under the Quebec Economic Development Program. Quebec government assistance can be broken down as follows: a $370,000 loan under the ESSOR program, and an additional $370,000 loan from Investissement Québec’s own funds. Finally, financial support for the implementation of the marketing plan was provided through the Export program.
