Minister Blair to travel to Europe to participate in meetings with Allies and reaffirm Canada’s commitment to NATO and Euro-Atlantic security

The Honourable Bill Blair, Minister of National Defence, will travel to Europe from February 12 to 16, 2025. During his visit, the Minister will meet with Allies and partners to discuss issues of shared interest and advance Euro-Atlantic security priorities.
On February 12, Minister Blair will participate in the 26th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG) hosted by the United Kingdom in Brussels, Belgium.
On February 13, the Minister will participate in a meeting of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Defence Ministers at NATO HQ in Brussels, Belgium.
From February 14 to 16, Minister Blair will attend the Munich Security Conference in Munich, Germany to participate in discussions on international security policy.

Minister Blair is expected to hold a doorstep with reporters at NATO HQ on the morning of February 13.
