Training Camp for Team Canada Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 at CFB Kingston

Media are invited to the official announcement of Team Canada competing at the next Invictus Games being held in Vancouver and Whistler, B.C., in February 2025. The announcement will take place at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Kingston on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.

Team Canada’s 56-person contingent includes 22 serving members and 34 Veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces who acquired an illness or a physical or mental health injury while serving Canada. They will join more than 500 competitors from 20 countries competing in 10 adaptive sports throughout the course of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler, which will take place February 8-16, 2025.

What: Media opportunity to meet with Team Canada participants after the announcement and observe their training in team sports.

When: Team announcement on July 10, 2024 (from 10:30 a.m. to noon) followed by a complimentary lunch reception and team sports training (from noon to 2:30 p.m.).

Where: Team Announcement: CFB Kingston – HMCS Cataraqui.
Team Sports Training: Kingston Military Community Sports Centre.
