Defence Minister Anita Anand and Coding For Veterans to open the TSX Market on Remembrance Day

November 10, 2022 – Toronto, Ontario

At 9:00 am (EST) on November 11, 2022, National Defence Minister Anita Anand will join Jeff Musson, Executive Director of Coding for Veterans, HMCS York personnel, and Loui Anastasopoulos, CEO of Toronto Stock Exchange, to open the market at the Toronto Stock Exchange. This market opening is intended to commemorate Remembrance Day, and honour military Veterans and members of the Canadian Armed Forces.

The opening will also raise awareness of the important work of Coding for Veterans – an organization that helps facilitate Canadian military Veterans’ transition to the Canadian technology sector.

Following the market opening, Defence Minister Anita Anand will attend the Remembrance Day ceremony at Queen’s Park in Toronto.
