Exercise MAPLE RESOLVE

May 8, 2017 – Wainwright, Alberta – National Defence / Canadian Armed Forces

Media are invited to attend and view Exercise MAPLE RESOLVE 2017, taking place in Wainwright, Alberta, from May 14 to 29, 2017. Exercise MAPLE RESOLVE involves approximately 5500 Canadian Armed Forces Members. Also participating in the exercise this year are soldiers from the Australian Army, British Army, New Zealand Defense Force, and United States Army. The total number of participants is approximately 7000, making it the largest Canadian Army exercise of the year.

Exercise MAPLE RESOLVE provides a unique opportunity to see how the Canadian Army trains and demonstrates the collective efforts that are required to put together an exercise that prepares soldiers for future missions.
