The RCN is excited to announce the digital launch of The MATELOT, a digital messaging platform designed to make staying on top of personnel policies, pay, and benefits way easier.

For years, personnel policies and compensation info have been stuck in thick documents that you probably never even opened. Well, we’re taking that outdated concept and reimagining it as a digital experience that’s always available.

This news platform breaks down complex topics into digestible, straightforward messages, enabling sailors to get the answers they need, in a speedy time frame when they need them, in a user-friendly format.

Key Features:

1. Simplified Policy Breakdown: News on key policy points are explained in bite-sized, digestible pieces to ensure understanding and engagement.
2. Compensation Insights: Sailors can easily access the wave tops and other useful info about changes or updates on their compensation structure and benefits—without needing to navigate complicated documents.
3. Timely Updates: Stay informed about policy changes or compensation adjustments as soon as they happen.

With this announcement, The MATELOT is now available to all sailors on the RCN App, and we encourage everyone to get familiar with the platform as we roll out new features throughout the year.
