The Public Service Commission (PSC) is hosting virtual information sessions from January to June 2025 open to all federal public service employees. These sessions will inform attendees who are seeking nomination as a candidate in an election or participating in political activities about their rights and responsibilities when engaging in political activities before or during an election period. This includes how to identify risks to political impartiality and how to make informed decisions.
To participate in a session, visit the PCS’s webpage: Information session – Political Activities and Non-Partisanship. Connection instructions will be sent with registration confirmation before the session begins.
A minimum of 20 participants per session is required. If the minimum is not met, the session may be cancelled. In the event of a cancellation, registrants will be advised 48 hours before the session.
