Defence Team: What you need to know when using the Mentoring Matching process

Did you know that January is #MentoringMonth across the Public Service? We want to reiterate the benefits of becoming a mentor (accessible only on the National Defence network), mentee (accessible only on the National Defence network) or both as a part of the Defence Team Mentoring Program (accessible only on the National Defence network). Having the opportunity to share your thoughts, expand your knowledge, and more! This is what the Defence Team Mentoring Program is all about – learning from each other to continue the professional development journey to grow as a Defence Team!

The Mentoring Matching process is easy! Here’s how:

• Create your user profile by clicking on “Register as a Mentor” (accessible only on the National Defence network) and/or “Register as a Mentee” (accessible only on the National Defence network) and complete the Mentor (accessible only on the National Defence network) and/or Mentee (accessible only on the National Defence network) forms on the Defence Team Mentoring Program webpage (accessible only on the National Defence network).
• Click on “Submit Your Profile” at the bottom of the page to save your profile. Upon initial sign up, you will receive an auto generated email with a link to your individual user profile. This link is unique to each user. Use this individual profile link to access the Mentor Match application after registration.
