Meet to Seat: Defence team managers can help improve DND’s onboarding program!

At DND, people are our biggest strength. It’s important that we have an effective onboarding process to retain key talent in our organization to help deliver the Defence Team’s mission.
Meet to seat is a project we’re undergoing to improve DND’s onboarding program, including a series of research initiatives that will help improve the employee’s experience. As a Defence manager, you are encouraged to participate in both activities. If you choose to participate in only one activity, pick the activity that’s best suited to you.
The research will start with 2 activities in which focus on the current state of onboarding:
- Survey
- Interview
As a participant, you will be asked to provide feedback concerning the current departmental onboarding processes and resources, from the point of view of a manager. We are particularly interested in your thoughts regarding the following:
- Your onboarding experiences
- Your onboarding expectations
- Potential areas of improvement in the current process
What’s important to know?
- The survey should take approximately 5 minutes
- The Interview will be approximately 20-30 minutes
- All responses are anonymous and kept confidential
- Both activities can be done in both official languages
- Accommodations are available as required
