Bravo Zulu DND for being selected as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for the NCR

We’re pleased to announce the Department of National Defence was selected as a WINNER for the 2021 edition of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for the National Capital Region.

The Department of National Defence and Canadian Armed Forces teamed up to submit a conjoined application for the first time. It was a great way to highlight the ways we work together to support one another and keep Canadians safe. This national competition seeks to determine which employers lead their industries in offering exceptional workplaces for their employees.

Some of the key areas we featured was our new headquarters, our generous time off for vacation, sick days and parental leave, our extensive mental health services and our numerous services, events and committees set up to ensure inclusivity and diversity across the department.

This wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and dedication of each DND employee and CAF member across the country – everyone’s work contributes to this success! A big round of applause to you!
