Notably, it can be stressful looking for a new job when your CAF spouse is posted. (I know it was for me.) The Military Spouse Employment Initiative both supports #CAFfamilies and strengthens the Public Service. We said from the start of the pandemic that business resumption planning would be subject to regional health conditions. As a case in point, Ottawa’s Medical Officer of Health today declared that Ottawa is officially in a #COVID19 resurgence.
That means we need to re-evaluate elements of business resumption planning, both here in the National Capital Region, and our other locations as well. We also need to step up our vigilance against the COVID threat. More to follow.
The reality of COVID-19 is that very personal choices have very public consequences. So make good choices. Hand washing. Mask wearing. Physical distancing. Stay home if you’re sick. Opt to work from home if feasible.
