(MM) Our team has 19 members in total, but there are 12 here now.
(JO) One of the biggest things about the Sandhurst Competition is the application of skills while under physical stress. Small mistakes add up to a lot of points lost. And throughout the day, the stands will become progressively harder because of our physical stress.
(TD) This team wants it just as much or if not more than any other team that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. And we are really, really hoping this year is the year that they’re gonna accomplish that again.
(MM) We really have a special bond, a really respectful bond, with both the girls and the guys. Everyone respects each other. Everyone pushes each other to the best that... to achieve the best for the team.
(SDL) This comp really is about the details. 'Cause there are so many things you need to think of at the same time. After an event, trying to think about the next one and not get held behind because of mistakes we did.
(WL) The assault boat launch, that was the best component we had. We set a new record: 4 minutes off of the old record.
(EH) We’re a team, and we all go through the same things together, so we have to pull together to move forward. You have no choice.
(TD) We've had a history of amazing officer cadets that become junior officers that go on to do amazing things in the Canadian Armed Forces. And those roots were planted with this team.
(SDL) I'm pretty jived, I'm nervous. I know we gave our all.
(MM) We had a few bumps in the road, but we managed to stay really positive throughout the competition. Really, we’re super proud.
(JO) The Sandhurst team is one of the best ways that RMC is teaching people how to be better military officers in the future.
(MM) Then, I think this is really a place where can you grow mentally, personally and as a leader.
