(AH) "Who is your role model?"
My role model... actually, I have two: it's my mom and my dad. They've been there for me my whole entire life. They've supported me, they've loved me and I couldn't be any more thankful.

(AH) Good morning! My name is Seargent Aime Hirwa and I'm a recruiter at the Canadian Armed Forces Recruiting Centre. And I'm here to take the 60 seconds challenge.
"What piece of advice would you give someone wanting to join the Canadian Armed Forces?"
I'd say: Give it a try! Give it a chance. And when you are ready, there's a place for you in the Canadian Armed Forces.
"What does leadership mean to you?"
Leadership means to me "leading by example", "not asking your subordinates to do something that they are not capable of doing".
"Why is diversity important in the CAF?" Perspective. "How long have I been in the CAF?" 8 years and 8 months.
"If you could choose another role in the CAF for a day, what would it be and why?"
I would like to be a psychiatrist just so I can understand how we help people dealing with mental health problems in the Canadian Armed Forces.
"What is the most exciting thing you've done or place you've visited during your career?"
The Arctic, that was very cold and very exciting.
"What sort of CAF roles are you currently recruiting?"
We are recruiting from anything going from healthcare specialists to office administrators, specialists in combat. Everything!
"Why is the CAF a great career choice?"
Because if you want a career that presents a challenge and gives you opportunities to be exposed to other people and places, this would be the right place for you. And that's it for the 60 seconds challenge. Thank you, guys!
