Government of Canada to release the 2023 Fall Economic Statement on November 21, 2023

The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, will present the 2023 Fall Economic Statement in the House of Commons on November 21, 2023, at approximately 4:00 p.m. ET.

The Fall Economic Statement will provide information on the state of the Canadian economy and update on the government’s economic plan to help create good jobs, to build more homes, and to make life more affordable.

The embargoed reading for media will be hosted by the Department of Finance, prior to the tabling of the Fall Economic Statement in the House of Commons. Access to the media lock-up is limited to journalists accredited through the Parliamentary Press Gallery and experts that media outlets choose to invite.
