Archived - Finance Minister Morneau Consults Manitobans for the 2016 Budget

Today in Winnipeg, Finance Minister Bill Morneau is hosting pre-budget consultations seeking ideas and comments on how best to support the middle class, grow the economy, and create long-term prosperity for all Canadians.

At the Minister’s Regional Office, Minister Morneau is providing participants with a first-hand overview on the state of the economy, and engaging in discussions on the Government’s plan to grow the economy.

These meetings in Winnipeg are part of a series of cross-country conversations on the 2016 budget that began in Halifax and will conclude in Surrey, B.C. on January 16. Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance François-Philippe Champagne is also hosting a series of pre-budget consultations across the country.
