Biography

Nicholas Lobraico has a Master of Information Studies from McGill University as well as a Master of Political Science and a Bachelor of Humanities from Carleton University. Prior to joining the Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN) as a graduate student through the Federal Student Work Experience Program, Nicholas participated in several heritage sector projects and volunteered with the Quebec Library Association, where he is currently the co-President. Since joining CHIN full-time in 2023, his work has focused on a research project evaluating the digital capacity of museums and other collection-managing heritage institutions in Canada. More recently, he has taken on a supporting role in developing and revising CHIN’s work on digital preservation.
