Parliament of Canada

Take your students to visit the heart of Canadian democracy. Parliament welcomes school groups for guided tours of the Senate and the House of Commons. Reservations are required.
Canada's Parliament is a vibrant example of democracy in action. In Parliament, our representatives examine the top issues of the day, decide on policies, and laws that affect every Canadian. The Library of Parliament offers numerous resources and programs for students to learn about Canada's democratic process, both in the classroom and while visiting the National Capital Region. All tours can be tailored to reflect the grade level and knowledge of visiting students, and can be connected to History, Social Studies, Civics, Politics and Law curricula.
