Canada Agriculture and Food Museum
The Farm in the Heart of the City! The Museum offers programs and exhibitions on Canada's agricultural heritage, food literacy, and on the benefits and relationship of agricultural science and technology to Canadians' everyday lives. Visit the animal barns and explore the captivating exhibitions: Canola! Seeds of Innovation, Tractors, Food Preservation: The Science You Eat (presented by Nestlé Canada), and Discovery Park (May—October).
We cultivate ingenuity! As a working farm, the Museum is a fun and educational atmosphere for students of all ages, from daycare to secondary. Our programs are designed to link directly to Ontario and Quebec curricula, but can be adapted to reach the science curriculum of most provinces.
Museum highlights: Canola! Seeds of Innovation; 150 farm animals in a demonstration farm; historical tractor collection; special events such as Easter on the Farm, the Ice Cream Festival, Thanksgiving, and a Barnyard Halloween.
