Designated organizations are located in Canada and demonstrate the ability to ensure the long-term preservation of cultural property. Category A organizations are listed below. For more information on Category B organizations, please contact the Heritage Policy and Programs Branch (Designation component).

Category A organizations

Category A organizations have an unlimited designation from one or more cultural property classes. The list is divided by province and provides the date of designation and the cultural property classes that are associated with each organization. NB: The list is subject to change. Please inquire with the organization or the Heritage Policy and Programs Branch to confirm the most up to date information.
