ST. JOHN’S, NEWFOUNDLAND -- The Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence and Member of Parliament for St. John’s South – Mount Pearl, on behalf of the Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard will announce details about the reopening of the Maritime Rescue Sub-Centre St. John’s. Minister O’Regan will be joined by Nick Whalen, Member of Parliament for St. John’s East.

Following the announcement, attending media will be invited to take a guided tour of the new Canadian Coast Guard Atlantic headquarters building that is currently under construction.
