  • In 2019, 33.4% of Atlantic businesses used advanced technology, compared to 14.7% in 2012

  Investing in Clean Technology

  • From 2005 to 2020, greenhouse gases have fallen by 31%, above target of 30%
  • Clean Power Roadmap for Atlantic Canada released in March 2022, proposing a collective vision for a clean energy future
  • Over $593M invested between 2016 and March 2022

Boosting Infrastructure

  • 350 rural and remote communities connected to broadband as of June 2022

Strengthening Trade, Investment and Tourism

  • 250+ companies participated in in-market activities through the Atlantic Trade and Investment Growth Agreement (ATIGA) since April 2017
  • 2.5M international visitors to Atlantic Canada between July 2016 and March 2022
  • 1,280+ companies supported with capacity building initiatives through ATIGA since April 2017
