C15A2 .50 Calibre Long Range Sniper Weapon

The C15A2 .50 Calibre Sniper Rifle is the designated Long Range Sniper Weapon (LRSW) for the Canadian Forces. The C15 series of rifle has been in service since 2000, but began being updated to the A2 variant in 2017.

This sniper rifle has outstanding accuracy and can reach targets at a range of up to 2,000 metres. The C15A2 is a manually operated bolt-action rifle, fed from a detachable 5 round box magazine. The rifle uses a two-stage trigger mechanism, and is fitted with a modular aluminum chassis system configured with a pistol grip and fully adjustable folding buttstock.. The system is designed to be used in a support configuration and is equipped with a fully adjustable and multi-position bipod. Additionally, the rifle is configured with a variable power telescope and reflex-style sound suppressor.
