Communities applying to participate in the rural and Francophone immigration pilots

In the fall of 2024, we’re introducing 2 new economic immigration pilots:

• the Rural Community Immigration Pilot
• the Francophone Community Immigration Pilot

Both pilots are based on the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot. Their goal is to:

• continue to spread the benefits of immigration to communities across Canada (outside of Quebec)
• help employers find the workers they need to overcome labour shortages
