Public service Supplementary Death Benefit: New! Name up to 5 beneficiaries, including minors.

The Government of Canada has announced that it has awarded the administration of its two public service dental plans, the Pensioners’ Dental Services Plan (PDSP) and the Public Service Dental Care Plan (PSDCP) to the Canada Life Assurance Company (Canada Life). Both dental plans will continue to remain separate and distinct, but the administration will be performed by one company. Following a transition period, Canada Life will begin administering the plans under the new contract on November 1, 2024.

Canada Life has been your Public Service Health Care Plan (PSHCP) administrator since July 1, 2023. Please send all claims to Canada Life, even if expenses were incurred before July 1, 2023. Don't forget to use your new plan number.
