Selection of members: Technical Advisory Committee on Science and Knowledge

August 1, 2019 — The President of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the Agency) Ron Hallman, today announced the selection of members for the Agency's newly established Technical Advisory Committee on Science and Knowledge. The Agency thanks all applicants for their nominations and those who have accepted to serve on the Committee.

The Technical Advisory Committee on Science and Knowledge will provide the Agency with expert advice on topics related to impact assessments, as well as regional and strategic assessments. These topics include scientific, environmental, health, social and economic issues.

The Committee's membership reflects the scope of the new impact assessment system, representing a variety of disciplines, regions, and perspectives as well as gender balance.
